Tutankhamun's Contributions
Although Tutankhamun had a short reign he did make many contributions to Ancient Egypt in the eighteenth dynasty. He made many contributions religion wise, in his building programs and in his restorations. Some sources say that because he only reigned for eight years, that e made harly any contributions to his society. With the contributions that he made, people of his society were able to see his lifestyle and understand the power that he contained as a pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty and how much he could achieve in a shirt time.
Tutankhamuns building programs proved that he did infact make some sort of contributions to society before he passed away. The temples and shrines that have been built are proof that he infact made a contribution. By building these he was allowing people in his society to visit places like this and many of them were dedicated to the gods which made it a place of worship for many. This made it easier and accessible for people to go and worship their god. The temples also gave the city something to remember Tutankhamun when he did pass. Having the temples placed around the cities allowed people to remember him and what he did as a pharaoh in such short time. The construction of his own tomb allowed himself to have a say in what he wanted and he has now contributed an amazing site to us of where his tomb is located in the Valley of the Kings.
The artefacts that were found in his tomb has contributed to society as they were able to see his wealth and how powerful he really was a pharaoh by the value of the artefacts found in the burial chamber.
